Job Description

Exceptional opportunity for experienced Physical Therapists to provide inpatient rehabilitation care at a reputable medical center in Hallsville, TX. This travel assignment offers a rewarding role focused on improving patient mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function through expert therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient conditions to develop effective treatment plans that promote mobility and reduce disability
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to restore movement and prevent future loss of function
  • Educate patients on injury prevention and health maintenance strategies for long-term wellness
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems, preferably MedHost

Desired Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Current Texas state licensure
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC
  • Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience, including at least 1 year in inpatient rehabilitation
  • Proficiency with EMR documentation, MedHost preferred
  • Professional appearance meeting facility dress codes (solid color scrubs)
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from assignment location
  • Immediate availability to start

Schedule:

  • Day shift: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
  • Float coverage required
  • No on-call duties
