Exceptional opportunity for experienced Physical Therapists to provide inpatient rehabilitation care at a reputable medical center in Hallsville, TX. This travel assignment offers a rewarding role focused on improving patient mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function through expert therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions to develop effective treatment plans that promote mobility and reduce disability
- Implement therapeutic interventions to restore movement and prevent future loss of function
- Educate patients on injury prevention and health maintenance strategies for long-term wellness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems, preferably MedHost
Desired Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current Texas state licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience, including at least 1 year in inpatient rehabilitation
- Proficiency with EMR documentation, MedHost preferred
- Professional appearance meeting facility dress codes (solid color scrubs)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from assignment location
- Immediate availability to start
Schedule:
- Day shift: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Float coverage required
- No on-call duties
