Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift, 9 AM 6 PM
- Float required
- No call requirements
Key Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current Texas PT license
- Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a PT, including at least 1 year in inpatient rehab
- EMR Medhost experience preferred
- Comfortable wearing any solid color scrubs
- Permanent home address and SS# required for submission
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Essential Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients to reduce pain, restore mobility, and prevent disability
- Develop individualized treatment plans and fitness programs
- Educate patients on management strategies for long-term health benefits
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hospital settings
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation using Medhost EMR
