Job Description

Advance your career in physical therapy by working directly with patients in an outpatient hospital setting, specializing in neuro and vestibular care. Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM 5:45 PM (36 guaranteed hours weekly)
  • No weekend or on-call duties, providing an excellent work-life balance.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Virginia Physical Therapist license (VA License status must be included if not yet held)
  • Active BLS certification (AHA only)
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist
  • Experience in an outpatient setting preferred
  • Background in neuro and vestibular therapy strongly desired
  • Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC and Cedaron) a plus
  • Adherence to dress code policy (scrub color per facility standards)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thorough assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for outpatient clients
  • Develop programs tailored to individual patient needs, including neuro and vestibular patients
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care
  • Educate patients and family members regarding therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation plans
