Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license required in the State of Nebraska
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent and relevant post-graduation experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred
• Candidates with at least 6 months of post-graduation experience may be considered
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and patient education skills
• Compassionate approach and commitment to evidence-based care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic patient needs
• Administer rehabilitative exercises, modalities, and therapies according to best practices
• Track and document patient progress, adjusting plans as indicated
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals
• Educate patients and families on progress, exercises, and injury prevention strategies
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives
