Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license required in the State of Nebraska
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of recent and relevant post-graduation experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred
- Candidates with at least 6 months of post-graduation experience may be considered
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent assessment, documentation, and patient education skills
- Compassionate approach and commitment to evidence-based care
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic patient needs
- Administer rehabilitative exercises, modalities, and therapies according to best practices
- Track and document patient progress, adjusting plans as indicated
- Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals
- Educate patients and families on progress, exercises, and injury prevention strategies
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives
