This 16-week travel role provides outstanding professional development. Youll deliver physical therapy services for home health patients, with some opportunities in rehab, gaining exposure to innovative care delivery models, documentation systems, and interdisciplinary teams. This hands-on experience will expand your skills and enhance your rsum, preparing you for future leadership and specialized positions.

Schedule & Hours

  • 40 hours per week
  • 8-hour day shifts
  • Monday to Friday schedule
  • Occasional weekend shifts available if desired

Qualifications

  • Active Alaska Physical Therapist license
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of general PT experience required; 5+ years preferred
  • Strong adaptability for home health and occasional rehab work
  • Excellent communication, time management, and clinical skills

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments, develop, and implement treatment plans for home health and rehab patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques to maximize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise regimens and care strategies
