In this contract position, youll use your expertise to plan and implement therapeutic interventions geared toward restoring and enhancing your patients physical, social, and mental functions. Youll work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care and outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and modify evidence-based therapy treatments aligned with departmental goals.
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans to encourage rehabilitation and improvement.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals as a co-leader in group therapy settings.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapies as needed for the most effective outcomes.
- Offer education and guidance to patients and families to support ongoing healing and well-being.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices for safe, ethical care.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Previous experience in a hospital environment preferred.
- Solid understanding of rehabilitation principles and multidisciplinary care models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
