Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs through comprehensive data collectionincluding patient history, physical examination, observations, and diagnostic analysis.
  • Develop individualized care plans tailored to the holistic and age-specific requirements of each patient.
  • Deliver therapy interventions aligned with care plans and established standards of practice, following prescribed medical directives.
  • Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while providing excellent customer relations to patients, families, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
  • Conduct hourly rounding with consistent attention to service excellence and patient safety.
  • Ensure proper use of health and safety equipment for the protection of patients and staff.
  • Demonstrate competence in the care of central lines, foley catheters, pressure ulcer management, ventilators (as appropriate), restraints, and fall-risk patients.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the department and assume charge responsibilities as required.
  • Serve as a mentor and preceptor for novice staff, supporting their professional growth and integration.
  • Engage in hospital initiatives, cultivating evidence-based practices and actively participating in professional development opportunities.
