Join a rewarding travel opportunity as a Physical Therapist specializing in rehabilitation, providing care primarily in home health settings with some rehab clinic work. This 16-week assignment in Fairbanks, AK offers the chance to impact patient outcomes through hands-on therapy in diverse environments.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes and in rehab settings
- Assess patient conditions, develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on therapy procedures and home exercise programs
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Alaska
- Minimum 2 years of general physical therapy experience; 5+ years preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in home health environments
Schedule & Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Occasional weekend flexibility available for extra hours
- No on-call, holiday, or floating requirements
