Qualifications:

  • Active license to practice physical therapy in the State of Nebraska (required)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent and relevant experience after graduation preferred, with consideration for candidates having at least 6 months of post-graduation experience
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions for diverse patient populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy services to inpatient populations
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital policies
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery expectations
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
