Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Nebraska (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent, relevant experience as a PT post-graduation (candidates with a minimum of 6 months post-graduation experience may be considered)
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in physical therapy within a hospital setting
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative care team
• Strong commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or managing chronic conditions
• Collaborate with medical staff, nursing, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately, following facility and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on exercises, post-discharge care, and preventive health strategies
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment, ensuring appropriate use of equipment and infection control
