Schedule/Hours:
- Hours will be based on patient care schedule, involving a combination of stool sitting, walking, and prolonged standing for 8-10 hour workdays.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Physical Therapy; continuing education coursework preferred
- Active PT license in California (or the ability to obtain)
- Solid understanding of DX and ICD-10 coding, HIPAA policy, EMR platforms, and billing procedures
- Leadership skills to supervise PT Assistants and Aides
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient mobility
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, and document patient progress using evidence-based rehabilitation protocols
- Oversee the care provided by PT Assistants and Aides
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients for comprehensive care delivery
- Ensure complete and accurate records, review authorizations, and follow up on test results
- Participate in privacy training and uphold all patient information protections
