Job Description

Provide expert physical therapy services in a dynamic outpatient hospital setting focused on adult patients with neurological and mobility impairments. This contract opportunity offers a chance to utilize specialized skills in evaluating and treating conditions such as Parkinsons disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and gait/balance dysfunction. The role supports a consistent schedule with a focus on quality patient care without weekend or holiday shifts.

Location: Edison, New Jersey

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy assessment and treatment for adult outpatients with various neurological and musculoskeletal diagnoses
  • Manage and document a caseload averaging at least 9 patients per day using EPIC electronic medical records system
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain professional compliance with all state licensing and facility requirements, including infection control protocols
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills in gait and balance rehabilitation

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey (PT license required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of outpatient adult experience treating neurological conditions
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster
  • Open to first-time travelers seeking contract opportunities

Schedule:

  • Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 4:00 PM
  • No call, no weekends, no holidays

This is a 12-week contract position with the opportunity to broaden clinical experience in a supportive, patient-focused environment. Travel and relocation flexibility welcomed.
