In this role, youll enhance your expertise by collaborating with leading healthcare professionals and engaging in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. Youll participate in treatment programs that restore and improve patients physical, social, and mental functions, contributing to genuine patient progress. Floating across different units is encouraged, allowing you to broaden your skills and resume while adapting to varying workplace practices and leadership styles.

Schedule Requirements:

• No night shifts
• At least 1 weekend shift per month (rotation)
• Call requirements: Contact rehab office as needed
• Flexible floating (optional and encouraged)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct physical therapy programs according to patient needs and hospital protocols
• Serve as a co-leader in patient group care with an interdisciplinary team
• Perform treatments and assessments throughout all hospital units by physician orders
• Utilize Cerner for documentation
• Collaborate with other departments for procedures such as video swallow exams
• Maintain and safely use a variety of therapy equipment

Qualifications:

• License as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Clinical experience in hospital inpatient therapy preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptability and willingness to float as needed
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation is a plus
