This contract role offers rewarding work alongside dedicated professionals specializing in physical, occupational, and speech therapies.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• 8-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• Current and active Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Current BLS certification
• Strong teamwork skills and an adaptable approach to varying patient needs and schedules

Preferred Experience:

• Background in acute inpatient rehabilitation settings
• Neuro rehabilitation certification or relevant clinical experience

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on treatments including gait training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training
• Guide and educate caregivers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain precise patient documentation using Meditech Magic
• Manage a treatment caseload, ensuring each patient receives their required therapy hours (minimum three hours per day per patient per regulatory standards)
• Track and document therapy time and patient progress per established policies
• Engage with interdisciplinary therapy staff, patient care teams, and leadership for continuity of care
