A dynamic opportunity for a Physical Therapist is available with a focus on outpatient care, including floating to acute care as needed. Those who enjoy patient-focused practice and interdisciplinary collaboration will excel in this specialized hospital setting. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for candidates who commit to a two-year term.

Key Qualifications:
- Current license as a Physical Therapist or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in outpatient and hospital-based therapy (preferred)
- Ability to delegate to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides
- Effective English communication, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and electronic documentation
- Capability to perform medium-level physical demands (moving 21-50 lbs. occasionally, 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly)
- Willingness to comply with OSHA and facility safety protocols
- Interpersonal skills for patient/family education and team collaboration
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations using both formal and informal measures.
- Develop tailored treatment regimes based on patient assessments and collaborate with physicians for plan authorization.
- Document care plans, treatment interventions, and patient progress per policy and regulatory standards.
- Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and at-home exercises.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, Aides, and students in compliance with regulatory and affiliate guidelines.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, process improvement, and community education initiatives.
- Ensure careful use of personal protective equipment and maintain patient confidentiality.
