Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist license
  • Clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate approach to patient care and rehabilitation

Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible weekday shifts
  • No overnight or mandatory weekend requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions for patients in both acute care and the extended care environment
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals for coordinated patient care
  • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs
  • Record accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Adjust treatment plans to support best outcomes for every patient
