A dynamic physical therapy opportunity is available in acute care and inpatient rehab settings located in Conroe, TX. This travel position offers hands-on experience in a well-equipped hospital environment treating a diverse patient population, including NICU, ICU, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, and comprehensive stroke cases.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans for patients in both acute care and inpatient rehab units.
- Deliver quality care using standard acute and rehab equipment.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech EMR system.
- Adapt to patient care needs with a willingness to float between acute care and inpatient rehab units as required.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of six months to one year of recent experience in the physical therapy field.
- Experience or willingness to work in acute care and/or inpatient rehab environments is preferred.
- Exposure to NICU, ICU, or comprehensive stroke care is a plus.
- Ability to perform evaluations and treatments independently.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
- Commitment to professional presentation; navy blue scrubs are required on the unit.
