A dynamic opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in outpatient orthopedics with experience in total joint replacements and rotator cuff repairs. This contract position based in College Station, TX provides hands-on patient care aimed at improving function and quality of life through thorough evaluation, personalized treatment planning, education, and discharge coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients progress, adapting therapy goals as needed
- Perform detailed and timely clinical documentation and accurate charge entry
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, medical teams, and staff
- Supervise support staff, students, and volunteers in delivering quality care
- Engage in ongoing professional development and apply evidence-based practices
- Align individual efforts to support organizational goals and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Physical Therapy (PT), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), or appropriate Compact or Texas license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per AHA standards
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related orthopedic or rehab setting
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a professional demeanor
- Proficient computer skills, including multiple systems and rehabilitation equipment
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5 days per week, 8-hour shifts)
- AM shift hours

- Location: College Station, TX (Booneville Clinic)
- Length: 13 weeks

- Travel: Flexible to travel, supporting relocation if needed
