Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and develop individualized physical therapy plans of care.
• Interpret therapy evaluations and establish clear treatment goals.
• Administer manual therapy, exercise regimens, and utilize assistive devices.
• Educate, motivate, and assist patients and families throughout the therapy process.
• Accurately document goals, progress, and plans for reevaluation in EMR systems.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants in compliance with policy and regulations.
• Complete and submit billing documentation accurately by days end.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT required for licensure after 2016).
• Massachusetts Physical Therapist license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in hospital, rehabilitation, or ambulatory settings.
• Proficiency in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong organizational, teaching, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with medical terminology and EMR systems.
