Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized physical therapy plans of care.
- Interpret therapy evaluations and establish clear treatment goals.
- Administer manual therapy, exercise regimens, and utilize assistive devices.
- Educate, motivate, and assist patients and families throughout the therapy process.
- Accurately document goals, progress, and plans for reevaluation in EMR systems.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants in compliance with policy and regulations.
- Complete and submit billing documentation accurately by days end.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT required for licensure after 2016).
- Massachusetts Physical Therapist license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in hospital, rehabilitation, or ambulatory settings.
- Proficiency in orthopedic physical therapy.
- Strong organizational, teaching, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with medical terminology and EMR systems.
