Schedule/Hours:

As a key member of a hospital-based therapy team, youll perform patient evaluations and deliver therapeutic services under physician orders. Youll directly supervise and evaluate Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, gaining valuable leadership experience while collaborating with clinical management. The role offers consistent professional development, through both daily case variety and participation in in-service education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services based on patients individual plans of care
  • Assist physicians in evaluating patient function and developing treatment strategies
  • Document, report, and communicate patient progress to clinical staff
  • Teach, consult, and when needed, instruct family/caregivers and agency personnel in therapy programs
  • Supervise, assess, and support PTAs and Home Health Aides
  • Participate in discharge planning and ongoing patient assessments
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
  • Current, unrestricted state licensure (as assigned)
  • 2-3 years of clinical physical therapy experience preferred
  • CPR certification
  • Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and required insurance
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic health records
