Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible schedule to maximize both professional engagement and personal exploration

Key Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent
  • Current, active license to practice physical therapy in NY
  • Prefer 2-3 years of recent physical therapy experience
  • CPR certification required
  • Strong computer literacy: proficiency with email, navigation, and online learning platforms
  • Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and required liability insurance

Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete patient evaluations and implement evidence-based therapeutic services as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians to assess, document, and revise therapy plans, maintaining active communication regarding patient progress
  • Provide direction, supervision, and evaluation for PT assistants and home health aides
  • Educate and consult family members and clinical personnel on therapy protocols
  • Observe, document, and report on patient conditions
  • Actively participate in quality assurance and in-service education initiatives
  • Conduct home visits as needed and attend periodic office meetings
