Physical Therapists on this assignment build their clinical skill sets while collaborating with dedicated healthcare professionals across multiple city and suburban locations, including Richmond, El Cerrito, Oakland, and more. The flexible structure means you'll get hands-on experience with a wide spectrum of patient needs, routine and specialized home health evaluations, and therapy interventions that broaden your perspective and adaptability.
Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours guaranteed per week (with productivity requirements if guarantee applies)
- Weekend coverage may be required
- Flexibility to travel within and occasionally outside the primary service area
Qualifications:
- Valid California Physical Therapist License
- BLS certification
- Current drivers license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- Compliance with required immunizations and screenings (TB, MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap, Flu, Drug screen, Physical)
- Willingness to treat diverse populations, including Covid+ and PUI patients
Responsibilities:
- Deliver home-based physical therapy evaluations and interventions
- Complete concise, timely clinical documentation
- Communicate proactively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain productivity and quality standards established by the facility
- Participate in weekend coverage and cover additional territories as needed
