This travel assignment in Athens opens the door to valuable hands-on experience in both Mercer and McDowell counties, working weekday shifts from 8am to 5pm with no on-call requirements. Schedule/Hours:
- Monday Friday, 8am5pm
- No on-call
Qualifications:
- Valid West Virginia Physical Therapy license
- Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) software
- Prior hospital-based physical therapy experience required
- Ability to meet a productivity standard of 30 points
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatment per physician orders
- Create assessment-driven treatment plans and set measurable goals
- Regularly assess progress and adjust care as needed
- Effectively communicate patient needs and progress to the care team and family
- Consult with medical providers and assist with adaptive equipment recommendations
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Supervise PT Assistants/Aides per state law
- Attend and contribute to internal staff development and pursue continuing education
