Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity delivering specialized physical therapy care within a hospital setting. The role involves serving a diverse patient demographicincluding pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patientsensuring comprehensive treatment spanning orthopedic, neuro, and post-operative conditions. The facility maintains a business casual dress code and the position features structured caseload expectations. Schedule:
- Visits: Approximately 10 per day, totaling 50 per week
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year physical therapy experience preferred; strong consideration given to new graduates
- Valid license to practice physical therapy (or eligibility for licensure)
- Clinical background with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations is advantageous
- Experience or interest in treating various orthopedic issues (e.g., ACL tear, fractures, back pain, post-surgical recovery)
- Familiarity with neuro diagnoses such as Alzheimers, dementia, vestibular disorders, or degenerative diseases is a plus
- Strong documentation and assessment skills, including gross motor evaluations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 patient visits weekly
- Conduct thorough gross motor and rehabilitation assessments
- Develop and adjust treatment plans for musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
- Support patients recovering from surgical interventions and chronic conditions
- Promote patient-centered care, facilitating optimal function and recovery
- Complete documentation in accordance with compliance standards
