This travel assignment lets you work where people come from across the globe to experience the incredible Carlsbad Caverns National Park, all while growing professionally in a dynamic hospital environment.
As a therapy practitioner in this setting, youll collaborate with accomplished colleagues, experience varied leadership styles, and develop your clinical expertise through exposure to diverse patient populations. Each day challenges your adaptability and sharpens skills that will set your rsum apart, preparing you for a wider range of future opportunities. Plus, after work and on weekends, take the chance to explore southern New Mexicos hiking trails, historic attractions, and vibrant local communities.
Schedule:
- Days, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
- One Saturday per month required
- Some holidays as part of rotation
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience in acute care
- Active BLS certification
- Licensed to practice in New Mexico or eligible for state licensure
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Adaptable and collaborative in a fast-paced hospital setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse acute care population
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Participate in documentation, care planning, and discharge processes
- Educate patients and families for smooth transitions of care
