This position offers weekday shifts, Monday through Friday, with flexibility on exact hours. Youll support multiple hospitalsgaining exposure to a range of settings and advancing your expertise through collaboration with diverse leaders and care teams. Floating between various departments and hospitalsincluding Herrin, Memorial, and St. Josephwill broaden your clinical knowledge, enhance your adaptability, and provide valuable, resume-building experience.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- Flexible shifts available
Qualifications:
- Occupational Therapy license (OT) in good standing
- BLS and NIHSS required for most units (varies by department)
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required for emergency department roles
- Confidence working in acute care, PCU, ICU, rehab, and med/surg settings
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Previous hospital therapy experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services across diverse inpatient units
- Float between assigned locations (Herrin, Memorial, and St. Joseph) as needed
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary health care teams
- Complete assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress
- Adapt to varying environments and workflow processes
