This travel therapy opportunity is ideal for an experienced Occupational Therapist ready to provide high-quality care across multiple hospital settings in Southern Illinois. You will serve patients at various locations including Herrin, Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, and St. Josephs, offering specialized therapy that supports recovery and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services across hospital units such as emergency departments, ICUs, acute rehab, medical/surgical, and step-down units.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
• Adapt therapies to meet the complex needs of patients in fast-paced and diverse hospital environments.
• Maintain compliance with latest clinical protocols and hospital standards.
• Maintain certifications relevant to care areas served.

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications required, varying by unit. Details will be provided to meet specific department requirements.
• Ability to float between facilities as needed.
• Flexibility to adjust shifts based on patient and facility demands.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday with flexible shift options as needed.
