Job Description

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy from an A.O.T.A. accredited school (Masters strongly preferred)
  • Current DC Occupational Therapy licensure
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of direct OT experience, ideally in acute rehab
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the location

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations upon physician referral
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate, individualized care plans based on assessment findings
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy treatments as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of therapeutic interventions
  • Adapt to dynamic clinical needs and changing work assignments
