Job Description

This travel opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services across multiple care settings. The role involves delivering evaluations, treatments, and collaborating on care plans with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a dynamic hospital district environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Collaborate with a COTA to develop and implement patient-centered care strategies.
  • Provide OT services in diverse settings, including:
    • Critical Access Hospital (acute inpatient and swing bed)
    • Outpatient therapy at the in-house therapy building
    • Home health therapy visits
    • Long-term care center (LTCC)
  • Document patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and patients families.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist license.
  • Experience in hospital and outpatient therapy services preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Flexibility to provide therapy services across various care settings.
