This position welcomes both seasoned occupational therapists and new graduates eager to develop their clinical skills while delivering vital care in home health settings. Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible options: Guaranteed or non-guaranteed hours available
- Some weekend coverage required
- Will occasionally travel beyond primary territory for full caseload needs
Key Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist license (OT)
- Current BLS certification
- Valid drivers license, auto insurance, auto registration
- Annual TB, Flu, and up-to-date immunizations (MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap within 10 years)
- Ability to work independently and confidently travel between patient homes
- Home health experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and occupational therapy treatments in patient homes
- Manage your assigned area (Alameda County & neighboring cities), coordinating care and visits
- Complete all required documentation, patient/caregiver education, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Be willing to treat COVID+ or PUI patients as needed
