In this dynamic hospital-based role, youll join a collaborative team of 46 Occupational Therapy professionals within a recognized acute care environment. This settingboasting a Level 2 Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke Center, advanced NICU and PICU, CARF-accredited rehabilitation unit, and moreensures a thriving, supportive atmosphere for both seasoned and emerging clinicians.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift hours (no night shift or on-call requirements)
Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
- Current BLS certification
- Comfortable working in acute care with portable equipment
- Documentation experience using Meditech & Redoc preferred
- Adaptable to fast-paced, evolving clinical settings
- Strong independent work ethic; previous travel or acute care experience a plus
- Gray scrubs required per dress code
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy evaluations and treatments in a hospital setting
- Manage a typical ratio of 8 patient evaluations during each 8-hour shift
- Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and discharge planning
- Complete all patient documentation accurately and efficiently using the hospitals electronic systems
