This travel opportunity is perfect for new graduates and experienced Occupational Therapists alike, with no prior home health experience required. Youll cover an assigned territory including Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Fremont, Hayward, and neighboring communitiesdiscovering different neighborhoods as you provide high-quality therapy services in patients' homes.

Schedule Options:

  • Guaranteed hours, with a weekly productivity target (27 points/36 hours): may include travel outside your area or occasional weekend assignments.
  • Non-guaranteed hours: flexible scheduling and ability to decline patients, with the possibility of covering a broader area for a full caseload. Weekend coverage may be requested.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions in accordance with individualized care plans.
  • Perform and document OASIS-related visits, recertifications, evaluations, follow-ups, and discharges, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and the care team.
  • Travel within your assigned territory to provide in-home care.

Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
  • Up-to-date immunizations and screenings (TB, MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap, Flu), drug screen, and physical
  • Enthusiasm for continued learning and exposure to new practice settings
