An established hospital in California is currently seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) with home health experience for a travel contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to deliver compassionate, high-quality therapy services to patients in a home health setting, providing vital support to enhance their daily functioning and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in patients' homes
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active California Occupational Therapy License required
- Minimum of 2 full years of experience in home health occupational therapy
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
