As a key provider of occupational therapy services, you'll deliver comprehensive care to clients in their homes, ranging from newborns to centenarians. You'll directly impact lives by helping individuals achieve greater independence after injury, illness, or disability, and you'll partner closely with family members, physicians, and allied health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel required within the greater Newton Center area
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license, registered with the Massachusetts Board of Registration
- Minimum one year of certified home care OT experience
- At least two years experience in acute care, rehab, or homecare settings
- Proficiency with various computer applications and hand-held patient care devices preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills, with capacity to prioritize and respond to changing circumstances
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a commitment to compassionate patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient status and develop individualized care plans
- Document outcomes and progress using electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families on home safety and adaptive techniques
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.14 to $50.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
