As a traveling occupational therapist in this role, youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams at different hospitals, gaining firsthand knowledge of diverse therapy approaches and strengthening your skill set. Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • Flexible shift options available
  • Will float between multiple Southern Illinois facilities, including Carbondale, Herrin, and Murphysboro locations

Qualifications

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in good standing
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong preference for those with experience in inpatient hospital settings
  • Flexibility to travel between facilities as needed
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to patients within hospital settings
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and track patient progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document medical records according to hospital standards
