Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Includes two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
- Potential to flex shifts if needed
Qualifications:
- Current, active license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a hospital or acute care environment strongly preferred
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and clinical settings
- Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
- Willingness to float between different hospital units as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for patients with varied diagnoses
- Develop, document, and evaluate individualized treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams for comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and exercises to support recovery
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with hospital protocols
- Participate in discharge planning and recommendations for continued care
