Provide specialized occupational therapy services across multiple hospital settings within a Southern Illinois healthcare network, supporting patient rehabilitation and recovery.

Location: Marion, IL

This travel opportunity involves assignment at multiple facilities including Memorial Hospital, Herrin Hospital, and St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Southern Illinois. Flexibility to float between these locations during standard weekday hours (Monday through Friday) is required, with occasional shift flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to patients in acute care, ICU, PCU, step-down units, medical-surgical, and rehabilitation settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that address functional needs and promote patient independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Stay current with certifications required by each facility, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS as applicable to assigned units.
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of patient populations across hospital departments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS as relevant to clinical settings.
• Previous hospital-based occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and shift flexibility.
