Job Description
Deliver essential care as a skilled Occupational Therapist supporting patients across multiple hospital settings. This contract opportunity features a dynamic scheduleenjoy four 10-hour shifts per week, including two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts. Flexibility is offered for shift assignments to support worklife balance.
How youll contribute:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to hospitalized patients, promoting recovery and maximizing independence
- Assess, plan, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with physicians, nursing, and therapy teams
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with hospital protocols
- Float between facilities to provide consistent, high-quality care where it's needed, strengthening your experience across various patient populations
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and ongoing therapy for home care
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
What makes you a strong fit:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Previous experience in a hospital-based or acute care therapy setting preferred
- Ability to adapt to multiple locations and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, patient teaching, and problem-solving skills
