Job Description

Deliver impactful patient care by leveraging your Occupational Therapy expertise within a respected hospital setting. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to make a difference as a vital member of a multidisciplinary therapy team, working with patients to achieve their highest level of independence.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time contract opportunity (specific hours/details to be confirmed during interview process)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) in the state of Georgia
  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Prior experience working with diverse patient populations in an acute care or hospital environment preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic principles, intervention strategies, and rehabilitation technology
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for a diverse patient caseload
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health team members to develop rehabilitation goals
  • Deliver hands-on therapy interventions and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications as needed
  • Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to hospital policies
  • Educate patients and families to support continuity of care and optimize outcomes
  • Adhere to regulatory standards and best practices in patient safety and occupational therapy
