This travel assignment provides an excellent avenue for professional development, with exposure to a diverse patient population and a forward-thinking, collaborative healthcare team. As an Occupational Therapist in our outpatient rehabilitation setting, you will work alongside seasoned professionals and acquire invaluable experience in both clinical practice and patient-centered care approaches, strengthening your resume and broadening your skills.
Schedule/Hours:
- 1:1 patient care, 45-minute appointments scheduled every hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients referred for occupational therapy
- Set and maintain measurable goals in partnership with physicians, patients, and families
- Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans
- Implement appropriate occupational therapy interventions and physical modalities
- Provide timely and thorough progress documentation for compliance and quality care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with current California licensure
- Outpatient and hand therapy experience preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Strong communication, motivational, and teamwork skills
