This travel assignment provides an excellent avenue for professional development, with exposure to a diverse patient population and a forward-thinking, collaborative healthcare team. As an Occupational Therapist in our outpatient rehabilitation setting, you will work alongside seasoned professionals and acquire invaluable experience in both clinical practice and patient-centered care approaches, strengthening your resume and broadening your skills.

Schedule/Hours:

• 1:1 patient care, 45-minute appointments scheduled every hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients referred for occupational therapy
• Set and maintain measurable goals in partnership with physicians, patients, and families
• Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans
• Implement appropriate occupational therapy interventions and physical modalities
• Provide timely and thorough progress documentation for compliance and quality care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with current California licensure
• Outpatient and hand therapy experience preferred
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Strong communication, motivational, and teamwork skills
