Schedule/Hours:
- Days: 8:30am5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- One Saturday per month
- Holidays required
Key Qualifications:
- Active OT license in NM or eligibility for NM licensure
- BLS certification
- Minimum of one year of recent acute care experience
- Prior experience as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and individualized treatment plans for acute care patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document progress, maintain accurate medical records, and provide education to patients and families
- Respond adaptively to evolving needs within the department, including weekend and holiday coverage
