Schedule/Hours:

  • Days: 8:30am5:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • One Saturday per month
  • Holidays required

Key Qualifications:

  • Active OT license in NM or eligibility for NM licensure
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of one year of recent acute care experience
  • Prior experience as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and individualized treatment plans for acute care patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Document progress, maintain accurate medical records, and provide education to patients and families
  • Respond adaptively to evolving needs within the department, including weekend and holiday coverage
