Qualifications & Experience:
- Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services in a hospital setting strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of therapy protocols for a variety of patient diagnoses
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational abilities and patient-centered approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions designed to restore function, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals and at-home care plans
- Accurately document patient progress and modify plans as needed for continued improvement
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all patients
