An opportunity in Lapwai, ID is available for an Occupational Therapist skilled in hospital-based therapy. This travel position engages healthcare professionals dedicated to maximizing patients' functional status through expert rehabilitation of physically disabled individuals in an acute hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans.
- Implement and modify therapeutic programs to meet patient needs.
- Actively participate in discharge planning and quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform required administrative duties accurately and timely.
- Pursue professional growth to maintain clinical expertise.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Idaho Occupational Therapy license (attach license to submission).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must be included with application).
- Minimum of 2 years recent occupational therapy experience within a hospital, preferably with acute rehabilitation exposure.
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) is advantageous.
Schedule:
- Wednesday through Saturday.
- Four 10-hour shifts per week.
