As an Occupational Therapist in this hospital setting, youll work alongside multidisciplinary teams and engage with a diverse patient population. This role provides exposure to a variety of leadership styles and workplace practices, making it an exceptional way to broaden your clinical experience. Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- One Saturday per month
- Holiday shifts required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of OT experience
- Active BLS certification
- Current NM or relevant state OT licensure
- Acute care background is essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for acute care patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and rehab teams to support optimal patient outcomes
- Complete thorough assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation strategies and adaptive techniques
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality standards, and hospital protocols
