As a dedicated Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting with a primary outpatient focus (with occasional acute care coverage), you will assess, plan, and implement individualized care while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Schedule/Hours:

What Youll Do:

  • Evaluate patient function using both formal and informal assessment measures
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update goal-specific treatment plans
  • Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, Aides, and students per regulatory standards
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, prognosis, and home programs
  • Coordinate treatment schedules and communicate effectively with clinical staff
  • Document patient responses, interventions, and updates in compliance with best practices
  • Participate in process improvements, team meetings, and community education initiatives
  • Lead by embodying core values: excellence, integrity, accountability, and teamwork

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in hospital or outpatient therapy settings preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks
  • Strong teaching, leadership, and communication skills
  • Competency with Microsoft Windows and willingness to participate in ongoing tech training
