A travel opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist skilled in hospital therapy, serving multiple facilities throughout Southern Illinois. The assignment primarily involves working in Herrin, IL, with shifts from Monday through Friday. Flexibility is essential, as you will float between Herrin, a major hospital, and another nearby medical center as needed.
Responsibilities include providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients across various units, including emergency departments, intensive care units, step-down units, acute rehab, and medical-surgical floors. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess patient needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with hospital experience
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications as applicable to assigned units
- Preference for advanced certifications (e.g., CSU-ALS) when available
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and float between multiple care settings
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Flexible shifts as needed
