Make an immediate impact in a dynamic hospital therapy setting, where youll use your Occupational Therapy expertise to enhance patient outcomes across several respected facilities. This contract opportunity places you among a multidisciplinary team, helping individuals regain independence and improve quality of life.
Schedule:
- 4 ten-hour shifts per week
- 2 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts
- Flexibility on shift times as needed
- Rotation between multiple locations
Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Hospital-based OT experience preferred
- Ability to adapt seamlessly while floating between different facilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaborative care
- Familiarity with electronic documentation and care planning
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy and patient-centric care
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions for hospital inpatients
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Guide patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and best practices for daily living
- Maintain accurate records and ensure effective transition of care between settings
- Promote a safe and supportive environment tailored to diverse patient needs
- Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings
