This travel assignment provides the perfect stage for occupational therapy professionals interested in expanding their clinical horizons. Schedule/Hours:

  • Assignment length: 13 weeks
  • 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Two weekend shifts per month (with a day off during the week)
  • On-call rotation details provided during interview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive inpatient rehab occupational therapy evaluations and treatmentsfocusing on neuro and orthopedic cases
  • Conduct assessments and interventions for acute units (orthopedic, telemetry, ICU)
  • Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams, adapting to the facilitys floating policy as needed
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation in Meditech EMR

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active OT license (temporary licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years inpatient rehab and/or hospital experience
  • Preferred: 23 years experience in acute rehab/hospital settings, NDT/brain injury certifications, or bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills

Professional Guidelines:

  • Sage green/olive scrub top, black pants/jacket, white/black undershirts
  • Nails, hair, beard, and visible tattoos/piercings must comply with conservative hospital standards
