Schedule/Hours:
- Day shifts: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
- One Saturday per month
- Holiday coverage may be required
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- At least one year of acute care occupational therapy experience
- Current BLS certification
- Active NM or compact state OT license
- Proven ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced hospital settings
- Strong communication and patient-centered skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions across a variety of acute care needs
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care in compliance with hospital standards
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic goals and home exercise regimens
