This travel assignment focuses on delivering vital occupational therapy services within patients residences, supporting individuals across all age groupsfrom infancy through older adults. Your expertise will be essential in addressing impairments and helping patients regain independence after injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Collaborate closely with families, physicians, and an interdisciplinary team to design patient-centered care plansbroadening your clinical knowledge and collaborating with experienced professionals. This position fosters professional growth, allowing you to sharpen your clinical decision-making skills and gain exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership approaches, elevating your resume with valuable new experiences.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel required throughout the region

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts (Board of Registration)
  • One year of direct home care certified OT experience
  • Two years of OT experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or home care settings
  • Skilled in various software tools; experience with hand-held patient care devices is a plus
  • Exceptional communication (verbal, written, and electronic) and customer service skills
  • Capable of prioritizing and adapting in rapidly changing environments
  • Comfortable traveling within the specified geographic area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions for patients in their homes
  • Partner with patients, families, and allied health professionals to coordinate holistic care
  • Manage technical, financial, and environmental resources responsibly
  • Document all care provided in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
