Work Schedule

• Travel within Bostons metropolitan area and neighboring communities as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to patients of all ages in their residences, addressing impairments due to injury, disease, or disability
• Assess, plan, and implement effective treatment in collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals
• Coordinate patient care needs and facilitate home adaptation recommendations
• Manage resources efficiently, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical record systems and hand-held care devices

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist registration with the Massachusetts Board of Registration
• Minimum one year of certified home care occupational therapy experience
• Two years experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or homecare as an OT
• Proficient with standard computer software; knowledge of mobile patient care devices preferred
• Clear, professional verbal, written, and electronic communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability
• Customer service savvy and cultural competence to serve a diverse population
• Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic area
