  • Full-time travel assignment

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Proficiency in assessment, planning, and intervention in line with OT standards
  • Experience in both outpatient and acute care settings preferred
  • Previous supervision of OT Assistants and aides a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Technological competency (Microsoft Windows) required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, utilizing a range of assessment tools
  • Develop and implement individualized, goal-specific treatment plans
  • Educate patients and caregivers about conditions, alternatives, and treatment rationale
  • Supervise OT Assistants, aides, and students as required
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
  • Document patient progress and modify plans of care as needed
  • Recommend and assist in securing adaptive or supportive equipment
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and patient safety standards
  • Promote ongoing education and process improvement within your care sphere
